This is one of the most spiritually auspicious times of the year and one where what you think and dream of casts a spell into your new year. Time for relinquishing the old – belief patterns that no longer serve you, hurts, lack of forgiveness, feelings of ‘not enough’ (self-worth, money etc), addictions and behaviours that keep you in a cycle of depression. Time for NEW energy – empowering, loving thoughts about yourself and others, reaching out to hug someone or telling someone you love them more, seeing yourself clearly and knowing you deserve to fulfil your heart’s wishes.
Your ritual – if you have time, write down all the people, experiences, life lessons and events you are grateful about from 2016 or if you are short on time, take a moment to do a mental review. NOW, write down or mentally review the parts of 2016 that left you flat, edgy, or resistant. Circle this list and write or say mentally, ‘I now allow all these aspects of my life to fade into the past. I lovingly release all that no longer serves me.” NEXT, write down or mentally project what you would dearly love to experience in the New Year.
The IMPORTANT part is you now spend at least 2 minutes FEELING what these new experiences would be like. FEEL your way through a beautiful visualisation, knowing that as you feel these new experiences, your cells physiologically adapt as well as your aura opens to receive AS IF these events have already occurred. Lastly, write or mentally affirm, ‘I now manifest these experiences in my life for the highest good of all concerned.
